graphicDid you know that Young Living has carefully selected each of the oils in the Premium Starter Kit to ensure that there is support for each of the systems in our bodies?  Just another reason why the starter kit is such a great place to begin for any newbies to the oily world and such a great value for anyone interested in maintaining a healthy lifestyle in a more natural way.

If you are like me it has probably been awhile since you have taken any biology courses.  So I thought it might be helpful to review the systems of our body, their functions, which oils in the premium starter kit can support that system and give a couple of examples of additional Young Living products you might want to try in the future.

What is a Human Body System?

A body system is a group of organs that have similar structure or work together to perform some function in the body.  Our bodies are made up of 11 systems, 12 if you count the emotions.  This article will cover six of the body systems and a future entry will cover the last six.

What are the Systems of the Body?

Integumentary System:  This system protects the body and is the first line of defense against the environment and germs.  It includes the skin (the body’s largest organ), hair, nails and sweat glands.

That concludes the review on six of the body systems.  The lists of oils and products I provided are in no way exhaustive.  That is one of the great beauties of Young Living essential oils.  The Seed to Seal commitment guarantees us every drop of oil has a complete set of molecules.  For you, that means that one oil can have many different uses.  Each of our bodies is unique so what works beautifully for one person may not be as effective for the next person.  Have fun and experiment with the oils to learn what works best for you and your family.

Great resources are a must for your oily journey.  We recommend the resources available at discoverlsp.com.  Also make sure you take advantage of the many learning opportunities afforded by your team.  No matter how many times I attend the Intro to Oils class, I learn something new every time.  Another great class is How & When to Use Your Oils.
